OUR MISSION:

FBC Student Ministry exists to disciple a generation that knows Christ and makes Him Known!

OUR VISION:

We believe that age does not determine faithfulness or servanthood. Students are the next generation of leadership and the church of today. We focus on discipling students in the Word, developing students in ministry leadership, and providing an easy transition from student to young adult ministry! Students will be discipled within FBC Student Ministry with hopes of being sent out for ministry in Young Adult Ministry.

MEETING TIMES:

Sunday:
– Sunday School @9:30 AM
– Worship: 8:15 AM, 10:45 AM, 6:00 PM
Wednesday:
– Midweek @6:00 PM

Drake Westmoreland

Next Gen Pastor

-My wife, Geneva (Eva), and I have been married for over 2 years (1-1-22).

-Eva is currently a dental assistant at Magnolia Dental while attending SELU. She hopes to obtain a Doctorate in Dental Surgery at LSU Health New Orleans.

-Accepted the Lord’s gift of salvation in 2016 at Clear Camps in Alexandria, Louisiana.

-I accepted the calling to ministry two days after giving my life to Jesus, where I spent the next few years learning from my Pastor and Student Pastor at Pine First Baptist Church.

-Licensed at Thomas First Baptist Church in December 2021.

-Ordained at Westside Emmanuel Baptist Church in March 2023.
